U14 Nephi
I was boxed in by thunderstorms and landed in Nephi Utah U14. The airport was deserted and no one at the airport office. The airport is owned by the city and fortunately a city worker was driving by and offered assistance. The city recently placed a courtesy car at the airport. He gave me the combination of the lock box that held the key to a Ford crown vic. Problem solved. I was able to drive to Nephi, get a room, and I was on my way the next morning. If the airport office is closed, call the airport manager 8/2024. (435) 623-0822.

I set up an arrival on the ramp for the night, pulled into the ramp and nobody would come out to park us. Waited 10 minutes for anyone to acknowledge our existence. Told the front desk I was going to top off at self service and then I was fueled overnight by the line guys and had to pay the difference in price. Nobody showed up in the morning to the FBO until 45 minutes after opening time. Avoid.”

You can drive to any of the 5 casinos across the border in Nevada but not the liquor store nor the weed store. We usually just walk 3 blocks to the Salt Flats Cafe. Good food, good prices, cash only. Clay sent in the picture and added: “they have a “crew car”, which will make you feel like you’re a G-man who came in from somewhere across the desert.  Free usage.  Nice way to get into “town”, which is close enough to walk but nicer to drive on a hot day. 9/2024.
