Paid $38 for patient and spouse to get back to their car. Fuel is almost double the price of the City self-serve terminal ($10 vs. $5-rounded in May 2024) Nice facility, but marshalling was slow and took customer service over 5 minutes to figure out how much to charge me. Agent told me, ‘I was *lucky*; used to be over $50). I didn’t feel ‘lucky’.

KPYN Piedmont Municipal Airport. Hank’s updated picture from 7/2024. Hank adds: A group of us flew to Piedmont Regional Airport and used the Courtesy Car to go to a great BBQ restaurant – Hercules BBQ. Driving there, we noticed a lot of alien/UFO references, and were told that Piedmont has had a lot of UFO sightings, which I was not aware of. They have the silver Crown Vic car, but appear to also have a red SUV. They have a surprising number of nice restaurants nearby, and the FBO is unattended but has the basic necessities and the manager is available by phone anytime. Fuel and the cars are available 24/7.
